For sale is this very nice 1970 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible. This beauty is finished in Monza Red, and has a Saddle vinyl interior. The paint shines very nicely, and the interior is in overall nice shape. Some of the carpeting is showing its age in spots. The interior appears to be mostly original. The black convertible soft top is in nice shape, and the back window is clear.
The underside of this Corvette is in very nice condition. The frame is in excellent condition. This car originated in North Carolina, and appears to have not seen any bad weather in all its years. It has recently been cleaned and detailed and shows well.
This car was just serviced. The fluids were checked and changed as needed.
The engine is the original 350ci / 350hp. It runs very well. The transmission is the original Muncie unit, as indicated by the corresponding serial number stamped into it. The rear differential is a 3.70 positraction unit, with a 1970 date code stamped on it. (2 CAO 3 11 70 W) The drivetrain on this Corvette is numbers matching.
This Corvette is optioned with the following: 350/350 engine Tilt/tele steering column Power steering Power brakes
The original Protect-O-Plate is present. The brochure is a new reproduction.
Records indicate that this car was built on the first day after the strike at GM ended. (The strike was from April 7th - May 5th and the vehicle build date is May 6th)
